Joaquin has just finished shooting the movie “The Disciple,” under the direction of Emilio Ruiz Barrachina. Sharing the cast with international actors such as Marisa Berenson, Joel West, and Ruth Gabriel, Joaquin portrayed the role of the Apostle James.

Over the course of the last several weeks the film was shot in several locations in Baza (Granada) which served as various scenarios in Jesus’ life. The shooting has been in English, and the premiere is scheduled for the first half of 2010. The decision is still pending which international film festival it will debut at, (e.g., Berlin or Cannes); with the Malaga Film Festival already decided for Spain.
